Eddie Grayson, Welcome to Your Player Page!

Eddie, the Supper Sleuths formally thank you for planning to come to Raphie’s big art debut, not that you’d miss it for the world!  The exquisite gala at The Rall Museum is guaranteed to be a night to remember.  Make sure you clean up and get some rest for this event, as your picture may be splashed among the society section of the Cosmopolitan Cryer the following day! Of course, making yourself look awake and alert won’t be hard at all for an admiring student like yourself – it almost feels like your own art show, you are so excited! By the way, below is your invitation, in case you need a reminder.  Grad students like you have so many deadlines and obligations,  but you absolutely must show up to the party, especially since, this time you may very possibly be a murder suspect!

You will play the role of Eddie Grayson

Full Name: Edvard “Eddie” Pinovich Grayson

Favorite Animal: “The Hound Dog.”

Favorite Vacation Destination: “The Seattle grunge scene is my terrain.”

Favorite Color: “Gray, mostly, and maybe black.”

Favorite Food:  “Coffee and biscotti or leftover Chinese.”

Favorite Song: Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” which Raphie played a lot during class.

You have taken every one of the courses Raphaela has offered at the city’s university, and you are more smitten with her work every day. You love to throw around phrases such as, “Well, having taken all of her classes, I do believe…” and other statements that make you sound like an authority on her work.  If anyone alludes to you having a deeper relationship with Ms. Paletta, don’t discourage them – you think she is a goddess!  You are an art major, of course, and hope to intern with Ms. Palleta after graduation this Spring, so you are here tonight to support her and also win some brownie points.  Also, act like you can see meaning in everything she has done, using phrases like, “I think Raphaela is really making a statement when she…(insert anything about her work.)”  Feel free to make up silly titles for her works such as “Expressions #3” or “The Gas Station Treasury.”

Costume Suggestions

Casual/Semi-Formal – Wear a backpack over your shoulder and an artsy shirt with either paint splashes (your “studio” shirt), or an actual art logo, and paint some dark circles under your eyes, stating that you have been up all night at the studio working on your grad school final project.  Carry a thermos of coffee or tea, and wear artsy spectacles and/or a beret, just to look the part.   Your hair should be wild and unruly and your clothes should make a “statement” about life (even if no one can figure out what you’re saying).

For a More Formal Look – Wear a dress shirt with a loud tie, and do not tuck your shirt in but wear a pair of baggy pants and a Charlie Chaplin hat and a pair of sunglasses.  You are one cool grad student with style!
